As a Mexican studying in Paris, sometimes I miss my country and the way we make food, the traditional dishes and that particularly spicy flavour. But after some months I finally found some of the top mexican restaurants in Paris, their locations and what they have to offer us.
El Guacamole
El Guacamole is a small establishment in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, located at the corner of rue Yves Toudic and rue de Lancry, a few steps from the Canal St. Martin. This is the best place for trying traditional Mexican tacos.
Individually, the tacos cost a few euros. On the other hand there are also 3 menus from 10 to 18€ approximately. There are also small starters like guacamole (5€), nopales salad (5€) or nachos con queso (5€). The tacos they offer are gringas, tacos al pastor, de carnitas, cochinita pibil, among others. (vegan options available).
El Nopal
El Nopal is also located in the 10th arrondissement and it is one of the top 2 Mexican restaurants in Paris. This place offers a variety of Mexican dishes.
The menu consists of: guacamole, beans, tacos, tortas and quesadillas. But my favorite thing about this place are their amazing salsas! They have 4 different kinds of salsa like habanero and salsa verde.
I definitely recommend these Top 2 Mexican restaurants in Paris if you want to try that famous seasoning.
